Books and Tea just go hand in hand. There are herbal teas, black teas, green teas, white teas, and so on. Each tea has a distinct flavor and aroma. I think certain teas should be read with certain genres. For example, you wouldn't drink a chamomile tea while reading a suspenseful read. Chamomile is meant to soothe and relax you. You want a tea that's going to help you stay awake till the mystery is solved!
If you have followed my blog for some time, you have noticed in each book review I recommend a tea and coffee to compliment that book. Well today, I am recommending which teas to drink with certain Christian books!
Today I am including Black tea (aka Breakfast Tea), Green Tea, and Red Rose Tea.
So without further ado here are my recommendations!

If You Want To Drink Black Tea
Black tea is strong in flavor and has a good amount of caffeine. Black tea has good health benefits too including reducing stress, fighting cancer, and boosting heart health. When I think of Black teas I think of bold stories; stories that require mental concentration. Black tea will help you read these stories into the night!
If You Want To Drink Green Tea
Green tea originated from the mountains of China. When I think of China I think of an exotic and foreign land. A land that is mysterious and inspirational. Green tea is good to drink with fantasies and Biblical fiction. Why Biblical fiction? India traded tea with China and India then traded the tea as far as the Middle East. So it is theorized that the people during those times did drink Green tea - among other types of tea.
If You Want To Drink Red Rose Tea
Roses are the symbol of love. Rose tea is equally delicious. Rose tea has excellent health benefits for women - balancing endocrine disorders, reducing menstrual cramps, and is a natural treatment for PMS. Because roses symbolize love and it has a natural soothing effect, it's perfect to read with a romance book!
Whew, you made it through! What kind of tea is your favorite to drink with a book? Share in the comments!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
