Purpose Driven Essentials July Subscription Box Review

purpose driven essentials subscription box july review

I am so excited to review this subscription box today. Reading the Bible is one of my favorite things to do during the day. One day out of the week I journal in the Bible. I sit down and get a little creative. I either just color a verse or image from my Journaling Bible or I will get a little more creative and add some stickers or stamps. I started Bible Journaling back in December I think, and I fell in love with it immediately. If you are into crafts or just love coloring - and love the Bible, then this box is for you!

From their website, Purpose Driven Essentials is a Christian based Journaling and Family Lifestyle subscription box. Featuring products ranging from devotions, family games, Faith inspired family movies, journaling supplies, games, devotionals, crafts, treats and just about any other family inspired product suited for today's modern family. PDE’s brands will range from high-profile line to small independent brands and everything in between.

There are two types of boxes. There is the PDE Mini Box and PDE Family Pack. Pictured above is the PDE Mini Box, which is perfect for one person. The PDE Family pack is intended to be shared with the whole family. Who neat is that? If you have children who love crafts and games, they will love this box too!

Each month Purpose Driven Essentials focuses on a specific theme. This month's theme is Missions. Every Christian is encouraged to go on a mission, whether it be short or long term, to spread the love of Christ to others. The pages of the devotion are laminated so you can keep it and use it again in the future. The devotion was created by Jenn Hiatt.

In this box there were a pack of stickers, washi tape, scripture cards and die cuts by Beautiful Good News. How adorable are the die cuts and stickers. You all know that the coffee one is probably my favorite. ;) And how adorable are all the transportation vehicles?!

Each box comes with a Christian music CD. At first I thought, I don't even really play CD's anymore. The only CD player I have is in my car. ^_^ However, the past boxs and this box I have not found the CD's on Spotify. I am not sure if they are on the Amazon or iTunes version music service, however. So I like that she picked ones that you can't find on the music subscription services!

Also included are a set of colored pencils. I have a ton of colored pencils already but I could always use more!

Included is the book, A Place to Land by Kate Montaung. Body Sugar Cubes by Kissed Organix. Gelatos Iced Rose by Faber-Castell.

Synopsis:

A Place to Land is a globe-spanning memoir that wrestles with the question, ''Where is my home?'' Kate Motaung watched ''home'' slip away again and again--through her parents' divorce, a foreclosure, two international moves, ten rental homes in ten years, and her mother's terminal battle with cancer. Add in the challenge of a cross-cultural marriage, and Kate was constantly adapting to a new environment. Through her experiences, you'll realize--as she did--that no matter where we go or what we do, this world is not our home.

Verdict:

I have been getting this box for a couple months now and I have to say I am really impressed! The number of products you get for the value of the box is amazing! For only $30 a month you get about $50-80 worth of products. The devotions are well done and I enjoy going through them. I like that they are self-paced so you can do them all in one week or you can space it out in a month.

I definitely recommend this box if you love to read the Bible and journal the Bible as well. It's a great way to worship the Lord creatively! I know I am going to be a long-term faithful subscriber!
